At Morrison Engineering we are extremely proud, of our worldwide reputation for the first class tuyere repair service we provide. Following normal service life, Morrison tuyeres can be successfully refurbished, again and again, providing positive savings and reducing foundry maintenance costs. Almost any tuyere can be repaired – no matter how severely damaged.

		120mm bore x 800mm tuyere, 6 x tuyeres in 15 TPH kuttner hot blast cupola – this tuyere almost destroyed by water failure.
The same tuyere totally refurbished, with modifications to Morrison Engineering design, including internal spiral water feed pipes to tuyere “nose” area.
		150mm bore x 1100mm tuyere, 8 x tuyeres in 70 TPH Kuttner hot blast cupola, with through tuyere high velocity oxygen injection. Tuyere removed after normal service life, showing signs of wear and corrosion.
Again totally refurbished to “as new” condition – with an approximate 30% cost saving against the purchase of a new tuyere.
		GHW designed tuyere, in this case leaking water around the “nose” area, having suffered severe wear/corrosion and impact damage during furnace operation.
The same tuyere refurbished to “as new” condition, the copper nose and outer copper cone have been replaced, and internal modifications to Morrison Engineering design.
